A MESSAGE FROM President

Welcome to the Highlight website. This website covers two main content areas: Highlight Foreign Languages School and Highlight Translation Company Ltd. The former offers training courses in English, Japanese, Korean, French and German to lovers of foreign languages. The method of Multimedia Synchronous Sensitive Foreign Languages is adopted in our language teachings. Each course is taught in a small sized multimedia classroom. The latter offers translation and interpretation service to our clients. 

Our two major businesses actually intercross and promote each other. At Highlight School, most teachers are capable of doing translation jobs. Their foreign and mother language proficiency are constantly improved during their teaching activities, which are good for their translation work; through translation, their foreign language will also be improved, which is helpful for the teaching. Many translators at Highlight Translation are also qualified teachers of foreign languages, they teach translation skills in the classroom and at the same time their foreign language proficiency are enhanced, which is beneficial to their translation work. Undoubtedly, these two main characteristics of Highlight talents are helpful for us to provide our customers with more services. Students can learn translation skills while they are learning foreign language at Highlight School, the customers of Highlight Translation can learn foreign language at the school so as to directly communicate better in a foreign language environment. Both our students and customers can benefit from these double services that exist simultaneously and promote each other. These thoughtful and all-round services will advance the development of Highlight in return. That is the situation I have expected and which is also one of the reasons that why I established both Highlight Foreign Languages School and Highlight Translation Company Ltd.

I am really an English lover, English is one of the important parts in my life. You can find out my journey and experiences to learn English by reading my article of Multimedia Synchronous Sensitive English published on the website. I have been learning and applying English for years. I was able to communicate in English only after a few years of English learning thanks to the right way of my learning English. Gradually, English is full of interest to me as my English is getting improved at the very beginning. I have kept learning and using English ever since because of my interests in it and my application of it at work as well as in my life. Even though my English is not as good as my Chinese, the gap between them is narrowing continually. My English skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating have advanced equally through many years’ of intense self study and efforts. I have already built up a sound sense of English.

Reform of English teaching has been carried for years in China and good progress has been made. Although the English education is getting more and more popular, there are still a lot of long-lasting problems needing to be solved. For instance, a great number of our Chinese have knowledge of English more or less, but comparing with this huge number, only a very small portion of them are able to communicate in English comfortably. This situation is far beyond the matter of English learning, actually is the matter that impact our international competitiveness. Many new methods to learn English keep emerging in recent years to the said situation, which make many English learners so confused that they are wondering which method they should follow in order to master English. In fact, there is only one right way to learn it, that is, the way to learn Chinese is also the way for you to learn English, namely Multimedia Synchronous Sensitive English (MSSE).

 MSSE is the fruit of my English learning for more than two decades. I hope to popularize it by means of Highlight School, so as to do some practical things for the substantial improvement of national English proficiency.

I am lucky enough because I am able to combine what my favorite, English with my career, which is the driving force for me to found Highlight and is also the horsepower for its success. As David Frost said: Don’t aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

I hope the Highlight website is helpful for your understanding of it, especially our unique method MSSE. I also wish that more and more friends can make full use of Highlight advantages and features, learning English or other foreign languages as their second mother language in order to use it freely and comfortably.
